Technical Precision and Artistic Freedom

I came across these images on designflavr.com. They immediately grabbed my attention as a result of their graceful forms and saturated color palettes. In the caption that accompanied them the author mentioned how high speed photography displayed a beautiful mixture of technical precision and artistic freedom. I was instantly reminded of my own process in creating jewelry in which those two words also would describe my work. It is amazing to me how the language of art is universal and transcendental. It has the power to heighten our ability to relate using art as a vehicle to communicate.
